Abilene Advancing Speakers exists to help you take your leadership and speaking skills to the next level. As a leader have you been given the chance to speak to people and blown it? Or didn’t have the impact you wanted to?

Abilene Advancing Speakers is here to help. Our club is made up of speakers like you that will encourage you, give you feedback in a positive manner, and push you to be the best you can be.

Meetings are open to the public and always free to attend.

Abilene Advancing Speakers is a pre-charter Toastmasters International club number 6414276, part of District 25 , Region 3.

Who:

This club was created to help people who are already comfortable in front of an audience to get better. Our meetings will be oriented toward that and not the person just overcoming their fears of public speaking. Abilene is blessed with many Toastmasters clubs that can help you get comfortable in front of an audience.
Visitors are always welcome at club meetings.

Preferred Qualifications:

Anyone who has given 5 speeches in front of an audience of more than 10.
For experienced Toastmasters this means you’ve completed half the Competent Communicator Manual, or the first level in Pathways.
Non-Toastmasters, we’re going to trust you if you say you qualify.

Investment:

Dues are $75 every six months. Dues are due at the beginning of October and April. They will be prorated based on join date. There is a $20 new member fee for new Toastmasters.
